Nowadays, companies are exposed to a more competitive environment than ever before, and it is necessary to work on the internal structure of the company, its strategy, to focus on reducing production lead times, reducing waste and increasing productivity. Therefore, our company has started to apply industrial engineering methods to production.
The first method that is starting to be applied in our company is visualization and the 5S method. A visual workplace is an organized, organized and controlled workplace that has clearly defined all the processes that are there. Therefore, this method goes hand in hand with the 5S method, which aims to make waste in the workplace visible. Our company has decided to apply this method to one of its workplaces – crushing poor quality products or material scraps that arise during production runs.
