In Brno, preparatory work has begun on the construction of a new passenger transport terminal in the southern part of the city. As part of the planned reconstruction of the railway junction, the Statutory City of Brno is seeking to connect the two routes Berlin - Prague - Brno - Vienna and Vienna - Brno - Ostrava - Katowice.

The routes under consideration are also included among the TEN (Trans-European Transport Network) priority international routes. The main international passenger and goods transport routes cross the Czech Republic in the north-south direction (Scandinavia - Germany, Poland - Czech Republic - Austria, Hungary - Italy, the Balkans) and west-east direction (France, Germany, Slovakia - Ukraine, Russia.

Installation of optical and power cables for the needs of remote control of signalling and safety systems at the Brno railway junction. As in many other installations on the railway, the reason for the use was the mechanical properties of the cable channels together with the fixed fixation of the cover and all this with minimum weight, which significantly contributes to the reduction of transport costs and especially the entire construction of the line. The cable manholes are laid in several rows in close parallel with the laid track + due to the need to maximise the throughput of the route on a small section, the cable manholes are used at 100% capacity.
