Installation of HV power cables for the newly built modern line for welded and rolled steel profiles.
The use of ZEKAN cable channels was due to their mechanical durability as a full-fledged replacement for concrete channels, in addition to their advantages of easy handling and long service life
Another reason was that the massive power cables were much easier to handle than the undivided protectors. ZEKAN cable channles were used in locations where mechanical protection was required in exposed areas with heavy truck or other freight traffic.
The cable channels are placed in several rows under walkways and taxiways and are also used as additional protection for the existing lines in these newly built access points - compared to other protectors of this type, their price is very affordable given their massive spread. In addition, one row was left empty as a reserve in addition to the filled cable channels for the need of a possible increase of the cable route.
