DEKAB cover belts

DEKAB PE cable cover belts are used for mechanical protection of subterranean cables (both power and communication) and piping systems. The cable cover belts also serve a distinctive warning function (description and colour). They replace the protection of cables with bricks or concrete slabs. Compared to these materials, they have the advantage of a longer service life (at least 30 years) and considerably less transport, handling, storage and installation requirements.

DEKAB cable cover plates are made of polyethylene. The belts can be produced in different colours with the required description. The DEKAB cable cover belts are equipped with a lock that ensures a firm longitudinal connection of the plates so that they overlap each other. The design of the locks ensures that the plates are firmly connected and do not shift when they are covered by machinery.
