ZEKAN XXL cable manhole at the largest battery storage in the Czech Republic

Our ZEKAN XXL cable manhole was used on the largest electricity storage facility in the Czech Republic, which is being built near Vraňany in the Mělník region. The project, financed by the Czech energy group Decci, includes the largest battery storage and gas-fired combustion turbines. It was commissioned on 10.7.2024. The total power output of this hybrid power source, used to support the power balance, is 52.4 megawatts (gas part = 32.4 MW, battery storage = 20 MW).
